Yessss. Been replaying RE2, definitely one of my favourites of the year. I have a few minor gripes but when I think about it, it’s up there as one of my favourite horror games ever.

I do hope that they make this a bit more different to the original though. Think we can agree that Nemesis aside, RE3 was where the ideas started to run dry. Even then, Mr X is very Nemesis-like which might steal the thunder of this one.

Death Stranding!

just found Conan O Brian! Gave me an Otter hood to help me swim better and told some shit jokes. I’m near the end of chapter 8 but just dicking around doing side quests, it’s worth it as it helps level up and gets you upgrades. So many of the in game noises I’m obsessed with too, like the “new order available” when you make a delivery, the new mail sound, the baby laughing when you’re speeding. Also enjoy knocking out MULES with the power gloves on, phworrr

Wouldn’t recommend anyone get this full price because it can be quite annoying as all the missions are essentially the same bar a few boss fights. I quite like grinding and over levelling in games though so it doesn’t bother me so much.

I downloaded Nioh and gave that a go for a bit and it seemed fun, like dark souls lite I guess.

Sign up for the free trial of Apple Arcade? Download a few to try. I haven’t played many but apparently there are some gems. Sayonara Wildhearts is meant to be really good if short. Think you can pair a PS4/Xbox controller.

i admit also partly that. i bought a psn code from a 3rd party site and activated it but then forgot to turn off auto payments on my ps account (actually not sure i even knew that was on), then got billed by sony for another year of psn. so i’ve paid twice for psn even tho it only sometimes get turned on as a netflix machine. lovely.

I’m still on Chapter 2! Please tell me you get blueprints for vehicles - I fucked my bike up and am trying to get full connectivity everywhere so it’s become a bit of a slog. The sound design is amazing - completely Pavlovian. I keep talking to my BB (inbetween shouting at Norman for his spontaneous lack of co-ordination)!

Also don’t bother getting full connectivity right now just crack on with the story, you can come back later and do it way quicker, there’s no real advantage to doing the extra stuff through chapter 2
