Do you mean as a monitor? Err, not gonna happen. I don’t think.

Ah balls. Not the time to be buying another TV

Out of curiosity, when was the last time you used it? And yeah, you just need something with an HDMI input.

The PS3? Six months ago maybe. Just sat downstairs in the lounge gathering dust

think my flatmate might have the first ori on switch… might pick up celeste at some point as well

Two more rounds this evening, another victory! I assume I’m being matched with other total idiots? Because otherwise, smash that like and subscribe!

Haven’t really even built anything and I thought that was a whole thing

At this rate you’re going to need some kind of racist epithet rhyming dictionary.

Think Sekiro has finely honed my parrying skills to the point that I can waltz through (humanoid) combat in The Witcher 3 without taking a single hit.

I could up the difficulty level I suppose, but it’s going to take me long enough to get through base game plus both expansions as it is so I’ll just enjoy feeling like Superman.

Forgot I owned Diablo 3. Might roll a new character and smash through it, only ever played it on PS3.

decided to play a few platformers I’ve had in my steam library before getting Celeste or Ori, first up Omegaland, designed by one of the writers of the Talos Principle. he just made it free, it really hit the spot, a silly Mario clone ‘with a twist’ which is easy to see coming but quite entertaining

now playing VVVVVV which I’ve had sitting around for ages, think it’s great so far

Really enjoyed VVVVVV, clever and fun. Speed runs of it are bonkers.

it seems inventive, such a simple mechanic… will have a look at some speed runs once I’ve finished it

Some mixed things coming through in the review for Resident Evil 3… apparently it looks great, it’s thrilling, and there are some neat new additions to what the player fan do, but… it’s too short and doesn’t have replay value, Nemesis isn’t used to its fullest potential, and there aren’t enough puzzles. Seems like if you’re not interested in the multiplayer stuff then it’s more like getting hefty DLC for RE2.

Still looking forward to playing it soon. I didn’t expect it to be as good as 2 - which for me is one of the best games of the past few years and I dunno, maybe one of my favourites of all time. Replaying it at the moment, and doing my 5th run is getting more attention from me than Doom Eternal (which is great mind!).

Sounds like a faithful remake to 3 to me

For real doe I’m interested to hear how the multiplayer is but not paying 40quid for a 6 hour campaign with how stacked the releases have been this past month

after several hundred hours of self-imposed ssf in path of exile i’ve bit the bullet and started trading with PEOPLE. why do i do this to myself? i really like the ones who ask to buy something, accept your invite to squad and then just quietly leave without saying a word. look m8 just say ‘i got a better offer sorry ty’ or something.

still, my new ‘ye olde flask shoppe’ is doing ok for a n00b and i always enjoy when the necromancers show up with their full crew. i’ll be in my stash fetching their goods and can hear their zombies land in my hideout before i can see them. always makes me laugh.

So following on from earlier discussions, I also finally finished Uncharted 3 yesterday. It’s interesting reading the overall reception at the time on Wikipedia because I think the game is trying TOO hard to be more like a movie than a game. The pacing, particularly compared to the first two games, is just off. Cut scenes that could’ve been gameplay and vice versa. The final stages in Ubar feel somewhat rushed, the supernatural element is underplayed and the ending/downfall of the villains is underwhelming.

For me so far it’s 2 > 1 > 3… I really liked the second one. Introduction of new, fleshed out characters that never really you’re not sure whether you can trust or not during the entire game, superb pacing and changing of environments, an actually intimidating villain who gets his comeuppance.

Best (of a bad bunch) final battles: 1
Interesting treasure hunting: 2
Best (of a bad bunch) puzzles: 3
Climbing and shooting: 2

Which Uncharted starts with a level of him as a kid? I’ve only got that one, and never got past that bit.
