Put 3 hours into the Battlefront 2 campaign last night and had a blast, bar the ropey lightsaber level.

It looks so good that just being in that Star Wars world and seeing burning X-Wings, Endor etc is a dream come true to the bit of me that’s still a 10 year old kid.

Really enjoying the story too. I find this part of the timeline (right after the second Death Star explodes) the best bit of the universe in theory, when no side has outright won and the galaxy is unravelling itself. Some of the scenes and ideas have been way more interesting than the films

Yeah it’s not too bad the Battlefront II campaign really! That bit where you’re playing as a really ropey bearded Han Solo talking to people in Maz’ Castle is extremely lame though

I know the whole point of Prey is to improvise getting into every nook and cranny, but there’s one body poking out of a fake ceiling that I cannot get to for love nor money! I spent about 2 whole hours trying to make gloo gun stairs to no avail :sob:

I replay my old favourites all the time. When I was younger I replayed stuff like RE4, and MGS1-3 dozens and dozens of times. I like revisiting games too years later and noticing/understanding things I missed or confused me back then. Mgs2 in particular just fascinates me more as the years go on.

And if you told me I could never replay Silent Hill 2, Halo, Devil May Cry, Wind Waker, or Final Fantasy 7 again I’d be very upset.

I’m also very very fond of HD remasters, as it gives me an even better excuse to revisit old favourites.

eBay mainly. Also got a couple of super cheap joblots off Facebook marketplace. Mainly shit stuff, so I sell the stuff I don’t want and keep the goodies.

Unfortunately GC stuff has gotten very expensive. Unless you’re just after third party stuff like your need for speeds and Prince of Persias

Dishonored is excellent, Dishonoured 2 is excellent+.

I haven’t played Death of The Outsider but kind of wish I’d kept my copy of D2 to allow me to play it now.

You’ll get value from those two.

I’ll play Prey now @dingaling has made it sound like something I’d like.

AAAAARGH

I need 100 hours in unranked before I can leave the shitmunchers behind and play ranked Dota 2 (fewer trolls, less griefing, you have to queue by role so you can’t have 5 people deciding they all want to be fucking Rambo and then blaming everyone but themselves when the team with the proper composition is stomping them). I have 300+ hours in game but this 100 hours thing was implemented after I’d stopped playing years ago so I’ve had to start from scratch.

Dota 2 games are about 35+ minutes long on average. I’ve had to endure several 70+ minuters because people aren’t coordinated enough to end games sooner. But tonight. Tonight was going to be my last ever unranked game. I just needed it to go to 33 minutes. That’s less than average.

We lost in 29 minutes.
