For me personally it’s not the weird presets that blow my mind. It’s the room presets particularly garage, just how and why go into that much detail for a specific rooms reverb.

They’re amazing, for both guitar and synth.

Its spring algorithms are never going to beat a proper spring tank for authenticity, but it’s such a versatile pedal and all of the modes sound amazing.

Decapitator is rad. Does nice soft saturation, but more often than not I use it to utterly destroy sounds.

been experimenting with my freqout pedal, works really well with a pitch shifter, up an octave blend at 50% = double harmonised feedback, then through the particle verb which turns it into a drone of feedback sound but also with a blend at 50% to let more legible bits of feedback be heard, then through the space echo, parallel path that doesn’t go through the space echo but the goalkeeper trem for some random sounding movement

Thought my amp had blown a valve (crackled, then dramatic volume drop). Cracked it open to take a look. Turns out one of the two power tubes was verrrrryyyy slightly loose and its socket. Reset it. Everything’s fine now.

Ffs. Ridiculous technology.

I won’t ever get onboard with limited edition pedals, there is enough snake oil and collector bubbles as it is without pedal makers actively encouraging it
