How are you finding the Iridium, @grievoustim?

It’s good, really good in fact. Best digital modelling thing I’ve ever used. Crucially all my drives and fuzzes sound like how I expect them to through it.

That’s encouraging news. I’m really tempted to get one. I quite like the idea of recording proper stereo guitars with one channel going through the Iridium and the other going through a real amp and the Universal Audio OX.

I’ve updated the OS on all my boxes, I’m a Sy sEx master

just get another OX to go with one of your many amps, you owe it to the global economy

I’ve honestly thought about it, but the TV wouldn’t be happy if she found out. I mean, she probably wouldn’t about the Iridium either…

Got an email about this, now I want one

This is interesting, rather than shimming it solves the string break angle by allowing the tail piece to sink lower

Anyone got any experience with the Ibanez semi-hollows? The coral pink one is calling to me:

Oh yeah, dussenberg trem arrived, such a great design, thought bulky bigsbys were the only option

My money would go to a well-sorted (Used) epiphone Sheraton or something like that

Or a 60s ES335. In for a penny…

Could refinish it in pink myself with some Warhammer paints

Floyd rose, scalloped frets, LED fret markers, inbuilt metal zone

Any thoughts on practice amps?

@ttf suggested the Vox Pathfinder 10

The zoom ms70CDR is banging value for money, it absolutely knocks out shoegaze and ambient patches which is great for me as I’m shit at guitar. Quite a bit of buzz with it at times if you use one of the compressors on it, but I’m powering it with batteries ATM

9/10 would recommend to any beginner guitar pedal guy such as myself
