tempted to get the green and blue mini jazzmasters now, this was a fun little project and they are so cheap would like to do more. think I would then use them for alternate tunings.

Also wanted to get the black versions of the pickups for this one but they were out of stock, reckon when they are back in stock I will order them as think back hardware will go better with the colour scheme, then I could reuse the white ones in another guitar (the quickplug thing means I can swap them in this one without desoldering). Worst bit was filing the pickup holes to make these fit though, inexplicably took forever

I liked the CDR so much I bought a MG50 too!

I’ve seen posts on Reddit about jailbreaking the CDR to put some of the MG50 effects on which I might look into!

Anyone know if the newer electribe is any good?

Was looking at the esx1 but it seems to be very expensive these days. I do love the workflow of the ER1 though, shame the kicks and snares on it are a bit… Unuseable

yes…there is a Russian made hack tool that i found on the multistomp facebook group. I’ve not tried it though,

The MS50 v3 software seems to have nearly everything the CDR has, which seems a bit odd. Thinking I’ll almost certainly get an MS60B when i get a bass.

Yeah, it does have everything with the fw upgrade, but its still limited as to how many effects it can hold, so you have to shed some of the effects to make it the same as the CDR. I think they both hold 173 effects, but with the upgrade the MS50G has access to 200+. I got rid of all the metal amps and some of the distortion pedals.

I’m playing Bass VI at a street concert on sunday and have made a patch to approximate my old DOD meatbox for some more bass

Everyone ready for financial ruin at the auction tomorrow?

I don’t want anything I don’t want anything I don’t want anything

How many items on your wishlist? I have a reasonable 8.

This is already about, oh, three times my budget

The Metal Zone is at £30, which is doable.

Literally 0. There’s some nice amps but I don’t record with a mic so a 60s Reverb would be wasted on me. The two OLP basses are bargains but my Lakland is perfect so I don’t want those. Some decent Strats and Mustangs going but I’m not after those either.

oh sweet summer child

Maybe that RAT

think i’m gonna get a mini jazzmaster in surf green, so I can stick so italian marble peacock paper to it

Mildly tempted by the sunburt Mustang but i don’t need it, and I’m keeping my change for if i ever find one of these

If you’re after a bass, that silver OLP is an absolute bargain, they stopped making them to license because they were cannibalising sales from actual Stingrays.

The Tony Levin sig one is even better but it’s a 5 string so not to everyone’s taste.

I like both of them almost enough, but did i mention the Talman is in green?
