That second one you’ve linked there is something I’m considering. All of mine are leaning against a wall next to my amps at the moment.

Problem is though, all mine are in gig bags with the required leads for each guitar in each one so if I do start storing them on a stand then I have to start storing all my other gear somewhere else.

really into multi-tap delay at the moment the one in my helix does some kind of band pass thing too. never saw the point before, like thought having lots of taps was just the equivalent of having a faster delay time as instead of one repeat you get 4 or 6, and if you spaced them out unevenly or muted some then the pattern would interact weirdly with what you are playing. but im a convert now, works different to how I thought so the delay time is still the same 1/4 note or whatever but when the delay comes it is a cluster of repeats, and with the more complex patterns I like how it actually kind of makes you adapt to it to change what your playing to lock into it for weird spacey atmosphere. makes regular delay sound very mechanical

2 of mine are on the wall - it’s a very space efficient way of storing guitars

Downsides - I’m ok with a drill but my walls are extremely crumbly which means it can be a PITA as obvs you want a nice secure hanger. I gave up on hanging up a third. Gonna revisit when I redecorate the room. TBH I’d rather have them just on a rack or something in a spare bedroom or whatever if I had the space, I’m not mad about the look of guitars on walls in living rooms or whatever. Really struggle for space as it’s a small flat and I have some bulky hobbies

At least you have gig bags and not hard cases which are a total PITA to store

I only have one (for my acoustic) and it’s enough

Just ordered the second one, ta. Currently got two twofers and it’s very space inefficient, plus the shame guitars that live under the bed in gig bags.

Now I’ll have more room to fit extra guitars!

+1 on this for synth flight cases too

(also I’m very fussy about keeping boxes & original packaging pristeen for possible future sales)

The other day I struck on storing the boxes for my pedals inside my guitar hard case!

clever

Something like the second one is what I got when I had my full 10 guitar collection going on. Worked well, couldn’t go flush with the wall but got close, easy access to actually use them, solid

This has just come up on my facebook. Looks quite interesting:

Quite like the idea of modular pedalboards. I have an Aclam board that had a similar sort of idea and love it however, Aclam have stopped doing them.

tried to use my helix to get into safe mode on my macbook in lieu of an external keyboard by assigning the shift key to one of the switches, didn’t work but laptop started to respond after that which i’m going to credit to the helix

I have the Hercules wall hanger jobbies. They’re pretty cheap, really good and the wall looks amazing with them all hung up, but I’m crap and drilling and my walls are shit so one of them (my heaviest, a Les Paul Custom) did a full faceplant from a couple of metres up and I’m scared to try again with it now. They look cool as fuck though and clears the floorspace nicely.

it is tempting as i’ve got so many and do like the look of them so might as well display them as prominently as possible, wonder if I am allowed with my leasehold

i’ve always thought putting guitars on the walls was a bit…

my flat definitely has that vibe anyway

I’ve got mine on the walls of my litte music room, partly because there’s absolutely no floor space anywhere for them and it wouldn’t be fair for me to start sprawling out into other areas of the house when I already have a designated room for all my nonsense.

Maybe, but it also clears plenty of space on the floor for them to fall onto when my terrible drilling isn’t up to scratch.

Yeah I don’t think I’d ever be able to relax again if my guitars were on wall hangers. Constant fear.
