Geese/Cameron Winter

Also, some weirdo near me was extensively recording video footage on their phone, zooming in at up to 25x magnification, right on Cameron’s face. Reminded me of Keira Knightley in the wedding video in Love Actually.

I was stuck behind a phone guy too - literally the first 2/3rds of the gig. Admittedly less strange than your person, it wasn’t Paul Thomas Anderson was it?

Based on the cinematography (he couldn’t even hold the phone straight), I’m gonna say no

Anyone at The Troxy dates this week?

Also, any decent bar recommendations in the locale?

Prince Regent. Cheap drinks, nice pub cat

George Tavern is 10 minute walk and a proper east end independent music institution (of sorts)

Yip, they are the jam band we needed. Praying he can write as well as he has cause as a live unit they are :fire:

Went both nights. Wednesday win (by some distance), setlist was insane.

My mate and I left grinning about the kids in the crowd. They could’ve upped that to an O2 sized venue in a heartbeat and banged out an absolutely superb club show instead. Hope he can keep writing like that cause the band are more than ready to work with it. Love them.

I know, the musicianship - wow.

Interesting to read the reactions on here. Third time seeing them and thought it was fine… not that it’s a bad thing but reminded me of White Stripes at times. Thought the mix wasn’t great which didn’t help but glad everyone near me seemed to be having a blast. There were just too many occasions where I thought the jam didn’t quite work &, yes that’s their prerogative, but I thought at times they were a bit bored of their own material. Delighted to get a few from the 1st album in the mix though; thought that might have been binned for good.
