I’m finally got my semi-improv process based broken and fragmented guitar loop project into a shape that could work live. I’ve been out of the playing live game for yeeeeeeeaaarrrrssss now.
how do you get in touch with promoters these days? I guess no one is using MySpace anymore? Do you just email them?
not really interested in going back into that load of random bands on a Wednesday night thing, too niche for that now, only going to pitch to more experimental peeps.

Email or insta - email definitely preferable, but a few smaller promoters seem to just have an insta presence

Aside from promoters, it’s also worth reaching out to any similar bands or artists in your local area to see if they’d be up for having you on the bill at any gigs they have coming up.
If nothing else it gets your name out there and can help to make some useful contacts for future.
