Yeah I looked into this the other day. There was a rumour that the account was just a guy from Malaysia (I think) who has taken a break from Reddit. That would be an weird coincidence.

Also I guess the Aimee Challenor scandal at Reddit maybe reinforces the idea that Reddit protects paedophiles…

Read this thread the other day which is very interesting (obvs CW for some dark stuff). The account tweets a lot of interesting threads, though I think a lot of people will find it all a bit tinfoil.

I have been listening to an interesting podcast called Power, which is about Robert Maxwell and ties into Ghislaine and her relationship with her father. The man was amazing (as many evil people are), his sheer will to power taking him to the top and then proving to be his undoing in the end. I would recommend if you’re someone like me who doesn’t know the ins and outs of his full career.

The podcast itself is a bit glib about any conspiracy surrounding his life and death. Which has made me realise an issue with a lot of the evil things the ruling class do is that there is very rarely anything that can be described as a ‘Journalistic Truth’. Just lots of threads going nowhere, or shadows on the walls of a cave.

It’s not exactly a novel phenomenon that a significant proportion of abusers were themselves abused. It doesn’t excuse their actions.

The thread is completely “Charlie from IASIP yelling at a cork board” but the inference that Epstein had a fucked up childhood doesn’t strike me as that outlandish.
