Don’t think Ive seen a thread of shows of the year. So here’s one. My top 10 shows would go something like this. Yours?

Honourable mentions to show from Pigs x 7, Angel Olsen and Lubomyr Melnyk

Biggest disappointments were probably GNOD at Ritual Union festival in Oxford (was all geared up for some massive riff action but ended up with some tedious laptop twiddling) and Rival Consoles @ Sea Change (great album, but found the live show really lacklustre).

Also disappointed I never got to see Oh Sees this year, came close a couple of times before other commitments took over.

Little Mix - Sussex County Cricket Ground.

My only gig this year. I live overlooking the cricket ground, so i didnt really have any choice in the matter. Good show though, better than Olly Murs last year. Fireworks at the end were good too.

I’ve still got a couple of gigs left before the end of the year, but I can’t see them getting close to David Byrne (Mudhoney, Orbital and, erm, Def Leppard)
