Gigs that are going to happen soon and maybe you should get tickets or maybe not but here’s the information to help you decide and not feel like you’ve missed out on all the fun because you’re tired and old (no worries if not)

Thankfully just managed to sell my Dublin Beta Band tickets now that I’ve got one for Belfast instead (no thanks to Ticketmaster’s ‘Resale Not Available’)

Strange that BC,NR are in the space that where the audience usually stand in this picture.

Wilco are doing a tour which has the weird choice of only two UK dates, being Glasgow and London (presale links are here)

Hovvdy support which is a nice bonus!

Wish Hovvdy were playing their own shows. I like Wilco but I don’t love them you know?

Well you got many months to change that

Just coincidentally featuring off days during Green Man weekend.

A coincidence I’m sure

Young Knives are doing a tour to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album.

No dates in Wales, alas :frowning: (or Ireland for that matter)

Also the poster looks kind of AI generated? Maybe? Unsure.

Interested if they play the entire second album and a bit of the third, but last few times I saw them they seemed to think their debut was their best record

First three are all great. Hoping to get to this

Some very cool moody danceable vaguely shoegaze electro from Montreal coming our way soon

Is it just me that gets the hump when artists post their tour dates but don’t name the venues?

Dengue Dengue Dengue at Club Cheek (as it happens, Club Cheek is owned and run by my friends)

Their musical explorations span psychedelic cumbia, dub, salsa, footwork, tribal, and techno — a kaleidoscope of genres that constantly evolve.

Dengue Dengue Dengue mixes rhythms from Perú and beyond, blending old and new, analogue and digital, to create a hypnotic, audiovisual experience.

Only £22 for a ticket - do come along

Slightly annoyed that The Duncairn have announced a quite short notice David Kitt gig next weekend when I’ve already made plans with friends elsewhere, never seen him with a band so would have been up for that (apparently it was announced a couple of weeks ago but I only saw it yesterday, a month is still quite short notice these days though I feel)
