Whilst it is a good call, it’s one I don’t necessarily agree with. If it was the hat thing on its own, fine. But he’d properly clocked him before that. A time penalty would’ve sufficed. But understand he’d lost time already, so that could be why there’s no pelanty.
Difficult lose/lose situation for the commissaires. Penalise Lopez and they implicitly condone spectators directly interfering with the race, don’t penalise Lopez and they condone violence.
