Whilst it is a good call, it’s one I don’t necessarily agree with. If it was the hat thing on its own, fine. But he’d properly clocked him before that. A time penalty would’ve sufficed. But understand he’d lost time already, so that could be why there’s no pelanty.

Difficult lose/lose situation for the commissaires. Penalise Lopez and they implicitly condone spectators directly interfering with the race, don’t penalise Lopez and they condone violence.

Perhaps the real punishment is the time he lost along the way

Bloody love Nibali.

the eurosport coverage has been good this year

enjoyed the studio bits with orla chennaoui

Agree. Although worried it’ll all get too Alan Shearer esque pundit heavy in years to come.

worried there’ll be more brian smith too

Love to see lawro get into cycling punditry

would like to see campenaerts winning after the fuck up at the last tt

Got a feeling yates might nick it.

Mollema to pull back 4mins

oh well

roglic not looking amazing here

landa might have enough for 3rd

Landa has shipped 20s to Roglic as he passed through the checkpoint

Finished in 22:33

landa 25s down on roglic with 1km to go

was 23s ahead in gc

Roglic takes 3rd by 8secs

think nibali finished faster than roglic there?

not that it makes any difference

that’s that then. not the best giro ever, was it? 6/10.

well done ricky carpz.

Whoever bet on Carapaz would be in some money there. Amazing how much more balanced Movistar seem without Quintana/Valverde in the team.

Agree with this tbh. Could’ve been an intriguing route, but ultimately wasn’t for many factors

first week was boring as fuck tbf

“what if landa had ridden for himself” not sure he can use that excuse any more. he was free to do as he liked right up until the last few days by the looks of things. if he had been the best in the race, he would have won

My mate has. Not massive money, but good odds
