Excellent aggpass!

Lost 5 lbs this month, which is good, but I’ve not done well with exercise because it’s been BLOODY FREEZING and that’s put me right off going out for a run or freezing my nips off in my garage doing weights.

So, not taking the piss with my eating habits so much: achieved. Sustainable exercise: not achieved.

Got no idea on my overall bodyfat % but I’ve got the legs of a fucking god atm, still got a big fat belly though

You can get it measured in boots on the machine for like 70p.
I still have quite a bit of belly fat as well as arse and thigh fat but I’ve definitely become slimmer (even though all this work started a few months before christmas).
I am lifting heavier now in my classes and got told yesterday that my form has really improved

good stuff! i am at 16.5% according to the boots machine - was at about 18% in November i think (no idea how accurate these things are) , i found something from when i got in down when i signed up to a gym about 5 years ago and then didn’t go afterwards that said i used to be at 23% or something like that.

I’m aiming for 15% (not really for any reason, just gives me a bit of a motivational perk when i get the results) - my weight never really goes down when i use those boots machine so i’m deffo getting stronger

:+1:

slightly in danger of this stuff taking up a bit too much of my time, will have exercised everyday this week :grimacing:

Getting there. Kept to 1,500 cals per day and no booze or bread since 9th Jan. Exercise when I can (thanks, DiS Strava group!). Crazy busy at work, though, so haven’t been able to get to the gym/out running as much as I would have liked. Down 11lbs on the month and built some muscle.

The diet regime is clearly not sustainable (I love food! I love cooking! I love drinking!) and I’m thinking of introducing a “free” food/booze day on Saturdays just to stop myself from going mad. I know from experience, though, that I tend to be rather all-or-nothing about these things so that may just cock the whole show up.

Definitely good motivation to have something to aim for. Mind you, I have no idea how long it would take to lose any percentage of body fat. In the 60 minute HIIT class, it’s only when you’re on the 3rd (and final!) round of stuff that he says “you’re in the fat burning zone now”. Like shiiiitttt, I have been killing myself here for 30 mins and i’m only just in fat burning territory!

Yeah I think the last time I weighed myself I was over 12 stone for sure and now i’m 11 stone 4 but I am definitely losing more fat weight as I’ve gone down a jean size. I said I won’t buy a new pair of jeans from Topshop unless I can fit in the 30inch waist. A few months ago, I couldn’t even get the 32inch waist above my thighs.

I’m with you on the taking over your life thing. I find in my evenings, I don’t sit down until about 10:15pm when I’ve got home, showered, had dinner, washed the clothes etc. And this weekend where i’m having a nice time with my mate coming to stay, I am missing 2 sessions and i’m like aggghhh about it for some reason? I like that buzz man

Absolutely agree with your last para. If I’m gonna exercise, I need to be doing it four of five times a week or I won’t do it at all. And if I am doing it that much, I get reeeally anal about fitting it in, and it starts to take over everything else.

I’m completely an all or nothing person when it comes to exercise. I’ll be proper hardcore or I’ll just not bother. I plan my weeks around my exercise and then social stuff comes after. It’s quite terrible I know, but I love it and I have goals I wanna reach. I get moaned at by work people for never going for drinks on a Thursday because Thursday night there is a really good class on. And then if I go Thursday night, i’ll do a light spin class on Friday night and then it’s not too much/body isn’t too tired before the Saturday morning HIIT class.
oh god i’m such a loser

Cheers for the heads up! I have signed up to the gym but having a range of options should help me work out what the best and most practical exercise method is for me

Yeah, I need to get obsessive to do anything. Also need to set a ludicrous goal to force myself to work to, so like atm I’ve decided to run a 3:30 marathon and then got a training schedule and am just forcing myself to do exactly what the schedule tells me, and bending the rest of my life around that
