@anon32406580 - great news about Wednesdays! - rant follows… - I asked for the same thing very recently (but with my hours compressed into four days, so no real loss to my employer) - refused - was told my job is a five day a week gig - offered them a compromise of two half-days off so I’d be in every day, or a nine day fortnight, or a trial run, and pointed out that I’d not worked more than a four day week over the last two months or so after having individual days of annual leave off, weekly, for two months, and no-one had noticed or batted an eyelid during that time, and that my role profile states ‘mainly office-based and work generally planned well in advance’ - still refused - was told my job is a five day a week, morning and afternoon reactive gig AND THAT’S THAT - pffffffft
