Regarding Robbie Williams, he had put out ‘Angels’ the previous December and had a sizeable follow up hit with ‘Let Me Entertain You’…so he was doing pretty well by the time of Glasto '98

Actually, i’m surprised Robbie Williams hasn’t been back at Glasto since '98! He would be perfect for the Sunday Legends slot in the next few years.

Just catching up on Gary Numan. Really need to see him again. Saw him at Bluedot in 2018 a month after NIN at the RAH and was really surprised how heavy he was live. I’d always just assumed he was more straight synthy pop.

Extremely easy to get a number 1 album these days considering nobody buys them. Hasn’t had a big hit single since ‘Candy’. Only relevant live now. I’m a fan, he’d smash the legends set.
Didn’t know a single thing about her beforehand, but saw the chunk that they showed (while scrubbing through looking for something else) and wow, she is fucking serious. Incredibly impressive, seemed like a whole set’s worth of ideas every 10 minutes.
