i moved the liners about inside mine and now I can get them back in the right place. I can’t figure out why the hell it’s so difficult to fix but I can’t get them to sit right any more.

Had the same with an old pair of winter cycling gloves. Never got them right again

I also have some very sinister black dakine pipe gloves (fondly known as ‘the murder gloves’ in my household) which ARE suitable for everyday use.

Not that warm though.

Seconding leather gloves for premium warmth, but they do make you look a bit like a burglar with the wrong outfit.

M&S have some good cheap ones, get a colour other than black to reduce the chances of people thinking you’re a prowler. Mine are dark blue

I have a pair of Thinsulate gloves and also a pair of Wed’ze glove liners too.

I’m usually okay with just the latter, but if it gets really cold, I will wear both pairs at the same time.

TX Maxx is usually the best place to look for these kind of things.
