Looks like a true test this week! Crazy amounts of undulation of this course from catching the highlights after work. Hills, bumps, jungle fescue. Factor that in with the weather/winds, should be a good couple of days.

He’s just so consistent. So rarely seems to make a mistake, he’s definitely not as exciting to watch as Rory or one of two others but he’s a brilliant player.
Really enjoyed his interview when he was talking about what it what doesn’t motivate him.

It’s pretty remarkable. Every week the guy plays he’s top 10 at worst. Tough to fathom.

Oh yeah, no doubt about it.
Every few tournaments it completely fails to click. The putts don’t drop, his driving isn’t up to his usual standard and he just doesn’t get going. Then you see he’s finished 8th anyway. Just so rarely has actual bad days, he’s almost impossibly consistent. Every single week he’s -3 after day 1, not actually winning but lurking like Jaws with all the golfers ahead of him obliviously flapping their legs.
He can also make the impossible look mundane. He’s played the 240 yard par 3 16th in 6 total shots. What the hell is that?
