I remember when my grandmother was in the early stages of dementia she used to ring my dad incessantly to worry about the kids who were biking below her window. I do genuinely wonder about the nature/nurture debate re dementia. I absolutely get that it’s a genetic thing but it must get so exacerbated in the early days by being on your own. having a sad moment remembering my gorgeous granny
