i’d still say it’s worth a watch. i kinda street teamed for it and helped support it while it was in production, and then when i saw the film i was so disappointed. could have been so much more than it was.

Some Kind of Monster is brilliant, even if you’re not a big Metallica fan, because they’re a bunch of massive middle aged crybabies squabbling over making a shit nu-metal album. Lovely stuff.

Little Girl Blue the Janis Joplin documentary is excellent. Study of a fascinating character interspersed with some fucking incredible live footage. Nothing not to like.

Ahh see I’m not a Doherty fan at all, but it’s a good doc as it starts off about this fella trying to get in his crowd to get a couple of interviews and slowly turns into being all about how obsessive and increasingly mad the filmmaker tends to be. Worth a watch!

yeah i’m pretty into it. lords of chaos was an entertaining read despite being about 90% fiction.

Scorsese’s series on the blues was brilliant as well.
