Good 'non mainstream' websites

Partly inspired by Sean’s thread, I’m looking for websites that are just ‘a bit different’. I’ve realised that I’ve become super mainstream in where I get my news, and although I’ve got Instagram and Twitter etc, it’s all very one track.

Something like Huck looks pretty cool. Anything that’s slightly counter culture, that has a range of articles, can be music related, can be special interest - just something that makes you go ‘hmmm!’ or ‘wow!’

I really like anything that Craig Mod does, which is mostly writing delicate prose with dreamy photography about walking, Japan, and walking in Japan.
