I mean, I’d quite like to see Plastic Beach, but probably not at the price they’ll be charging.
That’s definitely their best album (and one of the only times Damon managed to stitch together a coherent and consistent record from front to back?)

Well that wasn’t easy, when I got through Demon Days was unsurprisingly sold out, so I got some for the first album instead. I’ve only see them once before, at their first ever gig at the Scala, so I reflect I’ve just spent 4 x the cash to watch basically the same set 24 years later. Great!
Debut album show. Some of these songs sound way bigger than they have any right to.
This is such a good concert film and the fact it was promptly uploaded to YouTube is amazing fan service. I hope the others come out too.
Yeah. Think it benefits from being a single show, warts and all rather than being able to pick and choose takes from multiple nights too.
New album unsurprisingly performed and announced at the mystery box show, “featuring guest appearances from Johnny Marr, IDLES’ Joe Talbot, Black Thought, Sparks, Omar Souleyman, Yasiin Bey, Kara Jackson, The Clash’s Paul Simonon, Asha Puthli, Asha Bhosle, Gruff Rhys, Anoushka Shankar, Ajay Prasanna, and Trueno”. Supposedly a lot of Indian and orchestral influences.
There’s some implication that the new album is a revisit of material which was never fully fleshed out while recording the first three albums. The “mystery show” included tracks with vocals from Dennis Hopper and Mark E Smith, so it may be a “return to” type of affair.
March is fucking ages away not convinced about using people that have been dead for a while, but we’ll see
