I’m still low key irked that there was a dutch jazz trio out there with the name I originally wanted to use instead of Veins Full of Static.
Their bandcamp has since mysteriously disappeared since but there are currently 3 ambient/drone acts on there under that name so it’s probably for the best I didn’t use it
Bandmate of mine was in a band with a name that has since been used a bazillion times. It always tickles me to note that some of the wrong (and more listened to) band material is incorrectly attributed on Spotify; I don’t know if that means they get the money too? Seems like a reasonable name-tax if so!
as far as I’m aware, no-one else has ever used worriedaboutsatan as their band name - seems I had my SEO game down back in 2006! although there’s a drum n bass act called Worried About Henry, which is slightly irritating, as they keep popping up everytime I search for me anywhere
My solo moniker is good to go, but a duo project (space rock/slowcore) has the same name as a 1950s vocal group who had no online trail and now keep having tracks dropped into oldies compilations, which creates some very misleading streaming statistics.
