REM are very boring. Especially for a band from Athens, GA, home of yr Pylons, yr B-52s, yr Deerhunters, etc.
Oh I got another: Tomboy by Panda Bear is also very boring. Just a dude singing long notes over dreary grey sludge.
And for a positive one: Hot Hot Heatās Make Up The Breakdown is a classic of the āpost-punk revivalā era, although I guess itās more ānew waveā-y

That 00s pop music with its stylistic use of auto tune and maximalist approach to production was truly avant garde and were it not for its mass consumption would be recognised as boundry pushing experimentation deserving of high praise.
Its also barley listenable.

Good fun to talk about and be passionate about your hobbies but ultimately not really caring if other people have different opinions/chat shit.
Iām probably making a few assumptions on the average age or demographic of users of this site in doing that.
If you have to use time signatures to explain why an artist is good then they arenāt.
