Got really irked this weekend when a friend of mine was using the words ‘marinade’ and ‘marinate’ interchangeably.
jerk chicken seasoning
Olive oil, cumin, paprika, turmeric, garlic powder, cinnamon, mixed spice, salt and pepper.

Actually lime not lemon
Probably make something up on the spot involving coconut and lime leaves.
Make sure you brown that chicken off m9.
I’ve got a recipe at home that involves maple syrup and chilli. It’s more of a glaze than a marinade.
I remember seeing a programme on the BBC ages ago that proved with science that yoghurt-based marinades get the flavour into the chicken much better than any other marinades. Can’t remember the science. I never marinate, so I don’t have any recipes. Hope this helps.
