Yeah definitely. I loved Jon’s divided loyalty thing there where he had to find Bran above all else.

Yeah. Only two days until retirement now.

Would have liked a shot of him reaching into his armour and checking that the two first-class tickets to Naath were still okay.

yeah none of the characters are very interesting any more so i’m just watching it for the spectacle + occasional well done scene. this was def the best recent spectacle episode

It was sort of annoying but I guess because this wasn’t the big final battle they want to have more options to kill people off before the very end so I made peace with it.

That’s his name!

When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die, but in a way the real winners are us, the lucky viewers!!!

Thinking about it this morning I think I enjoyed the darkness and lack of clarity at the start, think something GoT does well is that frantic, claustrophobic feeling in the midst of battle. Think criticism of it is totally fair, but for me personally it added to it.

Contrasted nicely with scenes later on where everything’s on fire, e.g. when John’s running through Winterfell and you just see bodies falling from everywhere. Thought that was great visually, really hellish.

Would be brilliant if they get another different actor in for him.

Pretty sure she didn’t??

needed some white walkers in that episode. some 1v1 sword fights with a big hitter would have been great.

but they just didn’t do anything

Is David Boreanaz at a loose end because that would make a perfect hat-trick of choices.

There’s an insta meme with “brown eyes” written over old man Frey, “blue eyes” written over NK and “green eyes” written over Cersei

To be fair to her, Stannis and Arya do look extremely similar. Can see why they’d look the same in the flames.

Absolutely agree with this. We only got them striding in at the end like a Wolves in the Throne Room set. WTAF?

so when she told arya she was going to kill someone with blue eyes then winked at the camera, she had just figured out right there what it meant even though she had first said it way back in s3 or whatever it was
