if it’s one thread for all episodes then you run the risk of reading through into a discussion about the latest episode by accident. I agree that people will in general use their common sense to spoiler things, but it’d be good to make that clear and ensure that spoilers are used until people have had a day or two to catch up

have started watching the last series again. really obvious the writers were struggling a lot here. i harp on about it so much but it really is hard, when you’re listening to dany’s squad talk strategy, not to keep saying, “DRAGONS. DRAGONS. YOU HAVE DRAGONS. DRAGONS. FFS.” like she managed to take all those huge cities in essos without committing war crimes but apparently king’s landing requires genocide so she can’t go there? what?

anyway we’re on ep 3 and it’s definitely the weirdest season by far. there’s simultaneously loads happening and lots of wheel spinning. some smart plot points and plenty of moments that induce migraines if you give them more than a second thought. i forgot just how shit bran is and also about the lad’s going on tour beyond the wall. i’m not looking forward to it. but the loot train is coming up init so that’s good.

Think I’m just gonna watch Blackwater before bed. I did just have a rewatch of the last three seasons and have seen season 1 lots of times, so this seems like a good choice. Unless you have other valid suggestions???
