Its not that I dislike Ed, its my belief a cameo should be subtle, a secret little wink to the viewer that only the observant should see. Not ungraciously shoehorned in at the viewers expense ( the cheek of performing a song as well, crass!). If I were Ed I wud have wanted to be a soldier brutally killed or something.
