It’s a weird thread because he’s started with two albums where one is a direct homage to the first, whereas there are other examples that are likely just people picking similar themes.

With the movie posters thing some are barely similar.

the movie one isn’t about the posters being similar though, it’s about “when 2 or more production companies invest in similar scripts at the same time” as he says

Ah sorry, I got the visual stuff and got confused by that.

Yeah it’s funny how often the same shit comes out the same year. Always loved to watch the two versions vie with each other. I find it more interesting how often it felt like only one ended up existing at the end when they were usually both equally shit.

it’s weird because going through that list of movies I can totally remember thinking “oh yeah these films are quite similar sounding” but had no idea it was a ‘thing’ as such

Just reading up on ‘Gordy’

The film features the song “Pig Power in the House” by Tag Team. A music video was produced for the song, featuring clips from the film.

But… not being able to smell anything specific is the norm… so there would be no reason to make a comment.

“it’s very light in here, I can see stuff” = absolutely deranged sentence

And the observation “finally some quiet” is bogus because you would also comment “it’s very loud in here”

Sorry @xylo - wrong thread
