I hope to god this is real but it feels like the person who’d do this (and it seems legitimately likely someone would) isn’t the sort of person who’d go onto Reddit. I wonder if it’s their assistant who’s been tired of their crap for so long they just decided to put down their logic like this?

Incredible. Also, given the nature of her novel - a sort of supernatural/paranormal murder mystery - the foreshadowing of the woman telling her to ‘worry about yourself’ is quite an extra.

whatever ‘it’ is i have to agree with you

I like Andrew Trimble’s comment. I assumed that was the point.

You’re right, I’ve never heard of anyone right wing posting on reddit

That’s an extraordinarily asinine and reductive comment.

It’s accurate though, I don’t really get what you meant by that comment. All sorts of people go on Reddit, there’s no particular ‘type’ that uses it.

Sorry, bit tongue in cheek but I usually think a huge portion of reddit is an absolute cesspit so it wouldn’t surprise me whatsoever if someone like that was posting there - didn’t the guy that runs it refuse to shut down proper Nazi subreddits for a long time because ‘freedom of speech’?

Doesn’t mean it might not be fake though of course, just don’t think it’s unrepresentative of the Reddit userbase. I’m sure there’s plenty of decent stuff on there but then there’s also an Elon Musk subreddit full of hysterical stans who I’m sure this guy would fit right in with.

I don’t use

Nah sorry was just being grump. I mean @Parsefone my experience of the sort of suits I meet who do this is they’re sort of too psychopathic to be asking people on the web how to do something, strangers I mean. They’re the lifeblood of Linked-In, so it just seems weird to imagine them on these subreddits trying to get that sort of information. But I guess I still perceive Reddit as the home of sysadmin types primarily… Hmm

I don’t know what this bits about
