They did that one too! With David Shrigley obviously.

You probably know this being a design type though thinking about it…

Yeah I love Shynola. Their early Unkle stuff was brilliant.

My first job was in a studio with some friends of theirs, and while the Shynola guys were still working in Blockbuster they would do the odd illustration job for us (usually really dry stuff). They’d usually send in hand drawn sheets and we’d scan them and monkey about in Photoshop. When I was working my notice at that job I stashed all of the drawings inside a book so I could steal them, but we ended up not going back to work on my last day after lunch. Gutted.

I like the one where they’re all on treadmills

can’t remember who it was or the song though

I know its obvious - but I remember when the Thriller video came out, and what a shift it felt like

OK GO. Can’t remember the name of it. They excel at fantastic videos for boring songs.

a case in point;

The OKGO one in the massive warehouse/factory was cool. Like you say, their videos are amazing but their songs are instantly forgettable.

End of thread.

You beat me to it by two seconds. This was the peak and deserved all the praise it got at the time. The closest I can think of by another band is Paranoid Android.

Queen’s video for “The Miracle” is quite the funny, I reckon.
