Obviously some of these are down to the 90s release schedule. I reckon Wonderwall and Song 2 would both have been number 1 singles if they’d been released ahead of their albums.

I mostly know it from Lindy Layton’s cover in 1990 that also featured Janet Kay. Great record though, kudos to Petridis on that one, and placing it so high.
