Fingers crossed I get to go four years in a row. Bloody love Green Man.

Loads being resold a week before this year’s event so wouldn’t be too worried if you miss out, not sure if I can do with the stress this year. Interesting they’ve finally listened re ticketline, hopefully it will will be much smoother this year but if demand far exceeds supply it’s always going to be a shit show.
If I weren’t having to buy very specifically aged tickets for my family for Settlers I’d be up for the loosey-goosey approach too, but I think I’m going to have to do stressy approach instead ![]()
We got tickets quite quickly last year but there was a pretty stressful period where we weren’t sure if we’d actually bought the tickets or not.
I always find it hard getting tickets without knowing the lineup. Didn’t go this year but got tickets on fanticks the two years before that so definitely very feasible to wait and get one when the lineup is announced.
Going with a company I’ve never heard of called Ticketsellers for this then. Potential shitshow ahoy!
Obviously a big outlay, but if you buy tickets and don’t want them they’re incredibly easy to shift (even if the line up isn’t brilliant, if this year is anything to go by). Feels like a big wedge to put down but you’re no better or worse off as a result.
They are the same company that End of the Road use. Seem to work ok for the most part.
There will be a bit of carnage when the tickets first go on sale I am sure, particularly for the live-in vehicle tickets, but that is pretty much standard for any of the companies nowadays it seems.
That’s reassuring, just surprised that given the demand they haven’t gone with Seetickets or someone like that who are used to mad amounts of traffic.
Has anyone here taken a baby before? How did you get on? Ours will be 16 months next August but think we’re up for it.
My youngest was a little over 2 years old when we went to her first GM and she absolutely loved it. It’s very, very family friendly with a massive kids area, and it’s easy to get a good view at any of the stages with a pram in tow (except for the Rising stage maybe when it gets a bit busy).
Family camping is always nice and quiet at night. You can hire a trolley that comes with a roof and nice soft padding all around if you need one, though ours were happy in our Baby Jogger until they were about five.
Loads of general festival advice in here if you haven’t seen it: Kids and Festivals (Family Thread for the Music Board FTftMB)
But happy to answer any specific questions you have!
EDIT: meant to be a reply to @lastdino
Didn’t realise this was a sellout in a minute set up!
Yeah, a couple of friends missed out but fortunately we got through. New site actually worked really well, far better than last year. Just anxiously waiting for the email confirmation now…
Just got through. See you in the mountains!
There’s still some in the system, seems people are getting through now
I have a spare adult ticket now. Please shout if anyone needs it.
Just shows how crap ticket line were, managed that with no stress, though maybe i was lucky.?
Has been for a few years. Mad really.
Edit: Oh you meant a literal minute. That’s ridiculous, but I suppose they’re using a website that can actually hold traffic unlike ticketline
Yeah, people seem to be complaining because they expected it to be the traditional binfire and instead it coped with tens of thousands of people with no fuss, and even now the odd ticket is being returned unclaimed from people’s baskets if you’re ultra-quick.
We are going…will be a 2 year old in tow
First green man x
Friends just got tickets, seems like they’re still popping up somehow.
