This explains why the Adrian Chiles headline generator always made articles about Croatia

He’s half Croat, so it does come up a bit in his reveries.

Sublime posting

Great article that attempts to make its point through one anecdote and one survey, then at the end reveals that the same survey completely undermines its point.

I like the fact that final paragraph just tails off as well, as though he just realised it was pish and stopped typing.

And then published it anyway…

Next up: which ones are good in the shower.

King shit.

The payoff is in the 6th paragraph

A pathetic Chiles length advertorial for a pathetic band.

The lead singer was in a Hyundai car advert I am sure of it. All I can think about them these days.

Somehow the headline isn’t the most embarrassing thing in the article

This isn’t the first lockdown film Saoudi has made. Last year, he and Pregoblin’s Alex Selby began a shot-by-shot remake of The Shawshank Redemption. “I really believed I was going to finish it,” Saoudi says. “[But] it started taking five hours for every scene and it wasn’t funny any more.”

The Shawshank thing was quite funny, early lockdown, just those two in their back garden playing all the characters and literally doing the whole film bit by bit in Instagram stories. The guy doing Andy was really good haha
