no idea what this is at all! The clear bits look like a fun straw but the prongs on the end make me think maybe it’s some kind of electronics gizmo for measuring current or something idk

basically! it’s a circular knitting needle, used for knitting tubular things or things that are too wide to fit on standard needles
you must be pretty good at knitting by now, you’ve been doing it a while haven’t you?
nearly 20 years! got quite offended once when a manager at work found out that i knit and asked if i was a budding [name of older colleague who could also knit]. no actually, she’s a budding me.

I have always imagined that knitting is really relaxing, would be a great hobby to listen to music/podcasts too I bet!
yeah it is (on both counts), i get bored if i’m just watching tv or listening to something and not doing something else at the same time
