Not a particularly inspiring pint of Guinness, except for the fact I got it free from a lovely woman who works for Guinness and goes round pubs checking they’re serving it properly. She had a Guinness branded ruler to measure the head with, has to be between 12 and 18mm apparently. She said this pint could have been perfect, but the person pouring it lost confidence at the last minute. The person who poured it was standing right next to her at the time, brutal.

18mm feels good if it includes a bit of dome, but yeah, quite a lot if measured from the lip of the glass.
