pedals are:

Marshall Shredmaster
MXR Custom Badass '78 Distortion
EHX Memory Toy
RAT Clone
Lexicon RV-7 Reverb
cheap shitty reverb
Z-Cat Big Reverb TI
Joyo Tremolo
EHX Memory Man with Hazarai
Dunlop Classic Wah
Blackstar LT Boost

Anyone know of any reasonably priced loop pedals that can do one-shot and preferably also use SD cards?
Cheers

Not much on the old guitars these days but I have the following

Fender CIJ Jaguar (1990/1991)
Aria Pro II PE1000GC (prototype sn 00015)
Washbun D11 br acoustic (cheap but decent)
Fender classical/nylon electro acoustic (mid price piece of crap)

Fender MIJ Mustang bass
Washburn XS-4 bass

Marshall 5010 master lead combo
Ampeg B3 bass combo
Roland microcube (which I really like)

Pedals …don’t really consider pedals as guitar pedals as most of them I use as inserts/outboard on my mixing desk & mainly run synths or drum machines through them but I have

Pod HD500 board
Moogerfooger MF101(LPF & env)
Moogerfooger MF104m(BBD & LFO)
Minifooger Ring
EHX Small Stone
Dod DFX9
Arion SFL-1

Fuzzes - Turbo Rat / Zvex FF / Danelectro French Toast / Boss FZ5 / Joyo Voodoo octave / Behringer super fuzz
Delays - Akai Headrush E1 / Memory man with Hazarai / Danelectro PB&J / Behringer vintage delay
Other nonsense - Cry baby / Dan-o-Wah / MXR Uni-vibe / Behringer ultra shifter Harmonist x2 / Vintage phaser / Belcat Tremolo / Joyo Flanger.

About half of the above gets used with my band Crap Crab.
Find that some of the cheaper Behringer / Joyo stuff works better in my set up than the more expensive fuzzes and delays etc. Gear snobbery be damned!

Just ordered the Behringer Echo Machine for playing around with last night, and sold my £megabucks Dwarcraft/Devi Ever Silver Rose because it wasn’t as good as the Big Muff reissue that was £15 off eBay years ago. Can’t be doing with pedal snobbery.

The Echo machine is meant to be as good if not better than some of the Boss DD pedals, been meaning to get one next time I’m feeling a bit fruity. The Akai Headrush has been my go to delay since I bought it about 15 years ago though, just love the sound and control you get from the tap tempo.

A Gibson Sonex? Yeeeeah! Would love one of those, or a Marauder or an S-1 from the same era.

Yeah, I’m not gonna lie, it’s pretty frickin sweet. Bought it off the drummer from my old band when the neck snapped on my old Epiphone gold top. Best bit of bad luck I’ve ever had. Currently getting used in a sludge metal outfit in drop G. Lots of fun.

That’s some excellent bad luck right there! Have you any material recorded with that band?

Yeah, we put out a split with our Welsh buddies Tides of Sulfer - https://tidesofsulfur.bandcamp.com/album/the-last-words-of-a-dying-planet-split-with-the-air-turned-to-acid
Tracks 4&5.
Also used in my old band Men of Unitus - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpgEGJvz14M

Apologies for shameless jagging, but you did ask…

Here I go:

Guitars:
Squier Stratocaster (MIJ, E series, '84-'87)
Squier VM Jazz Bass '77 (CII, '11)
Jay Turser '51 P-Bass copy (The now famous sticker bass.)

Pedals:
Boss TU-3 Chromatic Tuner
Boss ODB-3 Bass Overdrive
Boss DSD-2 Digital Delay/Sampler
Boss PH-2 Super Phaser
Boss PS-5 Super Shifter
EHX Bass Big Muff

Amps:
Hiwatt Maxwatt B100 15
Epiphone Triggerman 60DSP
Boss Microcube (My absolute favourite amp and the piece of equipment I’ve had the longest.)

Nice one! Will check this out later on when I have time!

Not at all, I want to hear it!

Here’s the Strat. I normally keep it in EBDGBB. It’s battered to bits but I love the neck and the neck pickup too. Going to replace the bridge later this year.

What sort of sound do you normally get out of that guitar in that tuning?

The unison B can give a slight chorus effect, while having the B instead of the A low down allows me to do single finger rhythm parts while playing a melody on the other strings!

Nice!

The drop G tuning I use is similar - GDGCCC The top 2 strings are tuned to the higher octave C, while the ‘G’ string is the lower octave. Gives a nice chorus-y ring when playing chords on the lower stings. See our track ‘Sisyphus’ linked above for an example.

that jag is lovely

cheers yeah

it’s a looker alright. I’d be lying though if I said it played as good as it looks, the Japanese electronics and dimensions bring it down a little but it’s still pretty great for that Jag kind of stuff

here’s a young student of mine trying to get to grips with an A on it
