thought he’s been decent, only major blemish I can think of was against Forest (I think) when he made a rubbish clearance straight to someone to tap in, but otherwise seemed solid, nice and vocal, some occasional rash challenges that you love to see.

was mostly here to cover us til Jansson came back, so now he’s back Reid’s out of the team - we did play Reid and Jansson a couple of times but switched back to Pinnock and Jansson after. good to have Reid around for cover til the end of the season if either of them get injured as our only other senior centre back is playing left back instead, so it’d be youth team players otherwise!

Glad to hear he’s been ok, sounds like he’s finished at the top level though (not surprising given he was basically out for 2 years). Hopefully can do a job for someone in the championship next season.

yeah definitely, don’t think we’ll sign him permanently as he’d be too expensive for a backup option and I’m not sure any of our defenders will be leaving any time soon, but you never know. should do well at this level though.

Weirdly enough, I was also looking at stats involving Kyle Lafferty today. Seeing Palermo were playing today in Serie C made me look back through their old top scoring charts to the season when Laffers and Hull flop Abel Hernandez outscored Belotti and Dybala.

That is mental although I guess they were both very young I guess they were quite young and it was Serie B. I hated him anyway because of his time at Rangers but I was doubly annoyed that we signed him off the back of this:

literally makes me ill thinking about the team we’d have if we’d not sold some of those players. lukaku too. salah is probs the one i have less of a problem about though. he was pretty pony for chelsea during his time there, and i don’t think anyone was complaining when he left.
