being touted as a “new single” on instagram, and up on Bandcamp as a track to buy. I’m a big fan, but to put up a 51 second track that you’d have been paid by the BBC to make, and making out it’s your new single seems a bit of a stretch to me.
The blurb on her Green Man artist page has a bit about the album:
written in St Ives, it’s “a tribute to surviving youth”, that reflects on all the cities she’s lived in and people she’s met, from working as a dancer in Las Vegas, to life in indie-pop outfit the Pipettes in Brighton, to London, Cardiff, and Cornwall: “gliding, Peter Lanyon style, over the last 25 years of my life.”
Seems like this one is going to include songs in the Anglo-Saxon originated regional dialect of English.
