oh no, these are the ones I bought the other day! They’re WAY too bright and give me a bit of a migraine.

They also don’t have a white or warm white option as the white picks up the colour of whatevers behind it so mine was blue as it’s by my dark blue wall.

We listened to the public shaming audiobook whilst on a US road trip a few years ago and I could last for about 45 minutes driving before I had to swap over and immediately nod off for about half an hour. I don’t sleep in cars!!

They might be fine for what you need and also the twinkle setting is lovely with pastel coloured lights! They would have been PERFECT for my christmas tree…but not for relaxing film viewing unless they’re behind your head (I wanted mine to go around my telly)

i’m putting them on my book case which is in my peripheral vision so hopefully that will work. having said that the remoteless multicoloured ones I already have are pretty bright and I can’t stop looking at them. might be worse at night though
