Album is really really great but why oh why are the three strongest tracks they have ever written relegated to ‘bonus tracks’? They would work well in the proper album tracklist (although it might make it a bit long).

loved the first album, wasn’t mad keen on the second (shania twain vibes??) but this one is great
Considering how dire the 2nd album was, I had no hopes for this one, but its proper great isnt it?

Just me who really liked the second album, then…?
On first listen this one felt weirdly patchy, but I’m going to listen properly tonight. I’m sure I’ll love it, this band can do no wrong to my ears.
Agree that it’s odd how three of the best songs not just on the album but of their career have been tacked on the end as bonus tracks but I guess they weren’t written and recorded as part of the album itself? Some something artistic vision
I have a soft spot for the second album. It was the surprise promo show for that album at Primavera that made me love them (and then their show the next year was even better). Obvs I was aware of them before that but didn’t realise how good they were.

2017 when they were secret shows everyday. Arcade Fire, Mogwai (?) and these lot got to admit I was not impressed. Never been into them, My Song 5 is good and the video version of Right Now (has to be the video version) that was it for me. This though is really good.

Yeah, I saw them on that cycle at a beautiful converted church venue (1600 cap!!) opposite my flat and even though Danielle had completely lost her voice they were still fantastic. On balance I think it’ll be my third favourite, but I can see this band becoming like death cab: no bad albums, just better ones
