I got my hair cut a few weeks ago, spent a bit of money for a change. It was a japanese hair dresser, she gave me green tea and a shoulder massage (nothing rude), it was great and I no longer look like a man who has been stuck in a forest for a few years.

I have an eagle’s peak, I can never tell if my hairline is receding at the corners or if it’s always been like that.

I think the Regaine stuff is supposed to be good for thinning crowns (confession: I used it for about nine months to no visible effect). I know what you mean about it being quite devastating though and the whole ‘Hey just shave it and rock that look!’ thing can seem quite simplistic (“I don’t want to look like Bruce Willis or Jason Statham…”).

Maybe keep it very short for as long as you can?

apparently they’re easy to spot no matter how well they’re done (then again, maybe people just think that because they can’t tell with the good ones?) also you’re pretty much condemning yourself to constantly worrying about how noticeable or convincing the piece is. can imagine that would fuck with a person psychologically

one of those things where you’d think technology would be better by now though, isn’t it? like even when an actor or actress is wearing one in a role it tends to be painfully obvious (to some people at least, i’m the type who wouldn’t notice)

Do you work near Old St then? There’s a barbers on City Rd just up from the tube on the right-hand side (kind of opposite Starbucks). It’s where the newsagent used to be.
