I’ve had it quite short for about 3 years and it’s great, so easy to look after.

Yours ain’t half bad either matey

Going full no-guard is an absolute delight, like having a furry pet on your head whenever you need a comforting stroke. Full bald ie razor-shaved is an interesting experience, making your head feel a bit like a hard-boiled egg, but worth a go from time to time, particularly when your shaver dies halfway through doing your head. But in both cases be steeled for the first time you bang your head on something, because there is no pain like it.

I often let mine grow out to a couple of centimetres, compared to which Statham looks positively dapper, but I’m a middle-aged absent-minded professor in waiting so I couldn’t give less of a shit about looking like a tramp.

bumping this thread -

(seemingly) out of nowhere (or probably because i don’t tend to take pictures of my crown and study them) the hair on top of my head seems to be thinning out badly. i’m kind of horrified and grieving a little bit at the moment as i have pretty thick hair and honestly thought i might be lucky enough to avoid balding. but it’s bad. do i have any options or do i need to just accept it? i’m early-to-mid-thirties

going bald was sort of one of my worst fears so while i appreciate that ‘just shave it all off and rock that look’ is the standard response i’m looking for something a bit more consolatory

Still can’t believe this is true, you’ll always be Baby Prof to me :blue_heart:

your post made me feel the need to take a photo of the top of my head for the first time in my life, feel a bit silly now. haven’t quite got to that stage yet, but as long as you’re not rocking a combover, you should be okay for a while.

no combover and it actually looks perfectly healthy from the front (hence why it seems to have snuck up on me). but people earlier in the thread mentioning how noticeable thinning hair is when you’re standing over/behind someone on an escalator is making me think my hair is on borrowed time.

I think I went for the shave too early with hindsight

To the extent that I am bored of it now - would love some hair options

Thinking of maybe just embracing the bald like these guys

I tried to find an image that best reflects my hairstyle, this is it

Had a haircut yesterday, continued my 100% streak of never having had a haircut I was happy with.

recommend Porters in Dulwich. think its about 20 quid for a cut which is a bit dear, but I’ve never had a bad cut.

Know anywhere where I can go at work rather than waste my own valuable time with the fucking exercise?

no hair cuts in old street I’m afraid.

Balls.
