Halloumi

Merely ‘fine’. Alright as an accompaniment to something else but very dull by itself.

Sensational stuff.

God tier food. Fried halloumi, hash brown, cucumber, bbq sauce, chilli sauce in a bap. Literally perfect.

Happy just to munch through a pile of naked halloumi fries too though.

with this sauce in some nice bread with some rocket and slightly fried peppers it’s exquisite. Stirs feelings in me like no other sandwich.

You are therefore wrong.

hallo you!

Awful stuff only cheese I hate, basically rubber. Also gives me a headache.

Anything is nice if you smother it in sauce.

Really good even if it is an accompaniment because it tends to be the key one that lifts the entire dish.

Once had it on pancakes in place of bacon. Was lovely.

Halloumi is very good imo

Actually quite like it on a Birdseye ‘chicken quarter-pounder’ with some sweet chilli sauce in a nice bun.

It doesn’t come in cabs, you know?

Love it. Have it grilled regularly as part of a cooked breakfast, also this is one of our meals on regular rotation: Ras el Hanout Roasted Chickpeas with Broccoli + Halloumi – Bold Bean Co

Beer battered halloumi is gorgeous stuff and works well with oven chips and veg.

Yeah you shouldn’t eat things by themselves in general

Lots of things are nice by themselves. Cake, chips, chicken drumstick, Solero. Many more too I’d imagine.
