  • I was given Valentines cards by real suitors :sunglasses:

  • Neither

(I knew because my sisters also sent cards with the same design but in different colours. Nice try parents but you’re not fooling THIS guy :female_detective:)

Urgent announcement: We have no future plans to see Queen of All Our Hearts Carly Rae Jepsen at the the current time. I cannot stress enough, how dire this situation is.

  • No more countdown posts?! It’s like Valentines day came just at the right time.
  • Oh no, poor you.
  • Why not treat yourself to a countdown to another gig you’re super excited about?
  • Have neither of you got anything interesting to say about Brussels?
  • Quick! Grab a third coffee from the machine
  • Take that coffee back to your room and get ready for the day
  • Do you even know what you’re doing with your day?
  • I have to check, seriously, i know how excited you were for Carly Rae Jepsen, are you going to be ok?
  • Happy Valentines Day x

Gunna have a Chinese and then watch first love and then drink 1-3 beers with my darling life partner and some of our pals

Work party last night, got v drunk.

Tonight I’m off to play pool with the TV

There’s some kind of installation at the entrance to the fine arts museum (i think) that consists of filling the square with some kind of lazer show and dance music, it was like a big old rave, except there were lots of dogs passing through to be stroked🐕

There were an awful lot of talkers at last nights gig. Luckily when we moved from the left side to the right we found more True Carly fans who actually wanted to listen and dance to the music of Carly Rae Jepson rather than their own inane conversations

People who will not shush at gigs…

  • Why are you here?! Bring back hanging
  • It’s fine to ruin the experience for the people around you

I sent my first ever valentines card today, really can’t remember ever writing one before.

It’s an Alan partridge card, she hates Alan partridge.

If you want to speak, stand near the bar where it is going to be loud and talky anyway.

Do not stand anywhere near the stage.

The rules.

People who talk through everything. Then go absolutely nuts for the singles and jump into everyone. Great fun guys

I remember a guy at a Tegan and Sara gig that heckled the support act and tried to get me to boo them too (when I actually liked them enough to buy an album), then proceeded to heckle T&S too, start a fight, punch/get punched, make T&S stop the gig to shame him and then get him thrown out. Which was really pretty impressive in it’s own way, what a good use of £20 and a couple of hours …

I like the ones who you have a friendly chat with before the band starts and you tell them how excited you are to be seeing the band/true artist and they enthusiastically declare themselves very excited too and then the b/ta comes on and they keep talking really loudly all the way through :rage:

I think I still get them. Will find out when I get home from work I guess

At one point i turned to them and said, ‘you’re really fucking loud’. They took this as a compliment.
