Goooood morning Witches! Alls well over here ta :slightly_smiling_face: - bit achey from last nights swim (the second of the week) but I’m just settling down to my first coffee of the day so can’t complain! How’s tricks? Hope you’re having a great start to the day!

Nah no guests unfortunately! Oh cool, Hannibal is another show I need to watch. You getting tickets for either of the King GIzzard gigs in February actually? Might try go to the Glasgow one

Ah glad to hear it  good work with the swimming! :muscle:

I am having my first coffee of the day as well! SNAP!

Tricks are good. Nothing terribly eventful to report! As per…

I saw that another new track was released this morning (or yesterday?) but hadn’t clocked the live dates! I might indeed grab a ticket; though who knows what the set will be like if they’re trying to cram in material from all five 2017 albums! They should play some full albums shows instead…

Definitely give Hannibal a go. The second series in particular was astounding!

Morning all!

Already had my haircut. Full of cold still but it will probably clear before I return to work.

Bounce and Rhyme with The Child this afternoon. Football tonight. Hopefully some computer games between the two.

are you a painter and decorator? i thought you were just decorating your house or something but seems like you’ve been painting non stop for months and months

Don’t underestimate how many years someone can take to decorate their house.

Off to Munich later for a couple of nights for an exhibition/trade show type thing :grinning::+1:

I reckon Mike and I can beat any record. Eight months and we’ve only done one room. We got the kitchen done before we moved in, but at this rate it’s going to take a couple of years to get everything sorted.

Careful with that colour

It took my dad two decades to decorate every room in our house, and now he’s started all over again.

It’s just so fucking boring innit.

NICE!! raises hand for high five

I think you’d very much approve of this coffee mug as it’s got an owl on it

Also I’ve just noticed you’ve altered your avatar?! What’s with the oh so slight difference going on there?

We have managed to get rid of loads of the boxes and bags taking up space in the living room so now that feels much nicer to sit in than it was. And yep, really boring. Doesn’t help that there’s loads of tiny niggling problems with loads of our flat (shit storage heaters [now repainted], wallpaper on CEILINGS jfc, weird light placements)… which has slowed things down somewhat. We need to get someone to come in and skim the spare room ceiling and move the light fitting but we’ve not sorted it out yet.

Oh and we really need a new front door. CBA.

Drink ALL the Augustiner

No, it’s a combination of (a) having a hell of a lot to paint (three bedrooms, two flights of stairs, landing, hallway, dining and living rooms, kitchen*) and (b) not having the luxury of having a big block of time to do it all at once. Oh and also because I post on here too much.

* yes I’m a Tory, hah hah haha

:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Yeah ours is turning out to be far more work than we anticipated which is the case for any gaff I suppose. Ours has just got lining paper in every room and when you strip that back it’s the crumbliest, flakiest milk chocolate walls you’ve ever seen. Starting the dining room next month and I really can’t be cba’d.

I’ll do my best :+1::grinning:

I mean it’s fine, the sense of achievement once we finished the bedroom was really great, but we still need to replace curtains, get new lights, get some rugs and new furniture. BLAH.
