Hark the herald angels sing, glory to the christmas cheese

What christmas cheeses has everybody got? I meant to go get some posh stuff from the shop in town but didn’t make the journey in the end. So I’ve got a bit of blue, some cheddar with bits in (can’t remember which one) and these

Far too much, it’s never going to get eaten

Love cashel blue! It was my gateway drug to good cheeses. Would have loved to get some raclette too

(Some cheese actually freezes quite well if you cant manage it all)

I have a kilo of it

Was planned for an xmas eve meal that has been cancelled

Great choices there.

Whole bunch of Etorki and other sheep and goat cheese cos the TV and eldest can’t eat cow milk /lactose and some proper cheese for me and youngest - Isle of mull cheddar, ancient Ashmore, black bomber, that sort of thing.

Edit, goat cheese not ghost cheese, I imagine ghost cheese would be a bit insubstantial.

i usually get a truffle brie but the france border issue meant it didn’t arrive!

Went to a little village restaurant in burgundy once and the starter on the menu du jour was basically epoisses soup, with a poached egg on top. Was nice and smellly.

I’ve been known to have it for breakfast. It weighs a bit heavy of a morning, but one has to make sacrifices.

Honestly don’t know what we’ve got. I picked up random stuff yesterday, Mrs F did the same, including something called “Danish Brie” which I don’t think ought to exist.
