Have you ever visited the set or location of famous films or TV shows?

Just a little question for a quiet Wednesday

I took my ex to where they filmed Heartbeat, cos she liked Heartbeat a lot(!). Forget the name of the place but it’s a beautiful part of the country.

Had one of my best ever days on the old Corrie tour, a genuine thrill to be on the cobbles. Got to pull a pint in the Rovers and everything.

Saw Taskmaster and Deal or No Deal being recorded.

Can’t remember any more, sorry

The Star & Garter gets used a lot for TV, like Brassic and It’s A Sin.

I used to work in the building where Countdown, Jeremy Kyle, University Challenge and probably others were filmed but never went on the sets. Sharing a lift with people on them or swerving round Jeremy Kyle when it spilled into the street was the closest I went.

when I went to New York the first place I visited was the Ghostbusters fire station

Visited on purpose: the Overlook hotel (exterior) from the Shining, the Great Northern and the Double R Diner from Twin Peaks.

Visited accidentally: the foyer of my old work was used as the headquarters of the bank in Industry. Also recently recognised the bit where I walk my dog as the place where Adam Klaus gets buried alive in an early episode of Jonathan Creek too.

oh i’ve been there a few times but about 35 years ago

Oh and I occasionally do the quiz in the pub from the Young Ones too.

Been to Snoqualmie falls and Twede’s Cafe in North Bend Washington. Both iconic locations in Twin Peaks.
