Have you seen any really annoying words recently?

did you print it yourself?

Looking forward to the first use of the term “lateral apartment” to describe a studio flat. “We’ve done away with the stairs, the corridors… and 90% of the living space”

no, but i like to think that i can take some credit because I have inhabited the place.

I just realised 4D flat is a bit of an oxymoron, at least for a couple of the dimensions!

This has done me.

Remoaner, definitely.

As bad as “SJW” or “Feminazi” or “tony bLIAR” or “banksters” or “Gruaniad.”

There’s posters on the tube for some campaign management service that needlessly refers to emails in the singular like “Send E-Mail Your Customers Just Can’t Ignore”

It’d be like saying Write Interesting Letter, Make Eye Catching Flyer
It’s just so social media, so gross, so urgh

Really, really enjoying edgelord though

never knew you could spell apartotel with an h! always wondered what it was.

anyway: ‘womanity’ (“Women considered collectively; womankind.”)

Sounds like the sort of word Hank Scorpio would endorse, to be fair.

from the evening standard

“Lining up a layby”

Sounds like someone’s planning a bit of dogging

I’m really angry that they’ve called FoMO FoMO, why not us a proper word for such an important concept, not something that sounds like mofo. Ridicuous.

“barleysugar”

“Red Monday”

incredible

Is that in Buxton?

the new emphasis on ‘important’

this is important

this is IMPORTANT.

Im-por-tant.

Because I’m telling you that this is IMPORTANT.

Ha, no. Cambridge.

have assumed it’s only ever said on here to wind people up/jokingly
mainly because of how many people are irked by things described as ‘a bit brexit’, which encourages more use of the phrase

Its very similar to the signs i saw outside here http://buxtoncrescent.com/
