But I couldn’t wait to go to the beach with my niece to see her face and watch her play in the sea.

My take on this is that I’m really glad that I’ve got a niece and nephew I can do things with on occasion (and probably not as often as I should), but I’m also delighted that I can give them back once we’ve finished and rarely have to deal with the hard parts of parenting.
